The largest Bulgarian film festival is preparing its 30th anniversary edition. Ahead of the opening of the Sofia International Film Festival on March 12, the festival’s entire history has been complied in an exhibition of 60 panels arranged on the pedestrian bridge next to the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, also known as the Lovers’ Bridge.

The exhibition features 611 photographs in which fans of the film forum will recognize more than 850 people. Among them are members of the organizing team, partners, guests, and friends who have taken part of the festival’s events over the years.

“The Party Goes On!” is the motto of this year’s edition of the festival, which will present more than 150 feature films, documentaries, animated films, and short films. Audiences in cinemas will also have the opportunity to meet many of their creators—more than 300 special guests will attend the forum this year.
