Bulgargaz proposes 5.12% increase in the price of natural gas

Bulgargaz has proposed a 5.12% increase in the price of natural gas for April. If the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) approves the proposal, the energy commodity will be traded at EUR 34.27 per megawatt-hour, excluding access, transmission, excise duty, and VAT charges.

EWRC set the price of natural gas for March at EUR 32.60/MWh, excluding access, transmission, excise, and VAT charges.

Due to the war in the Middle East, oil and natural gas supplies have been disrupted, BTA recalls. This has led to an increase in the price of April natural gas futures at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) gas trading hub in the Netherlands, as well as at the Balkan Gas Hub.
