Mummers from Bulgaria and Romania gather for a festival in Kaynardzha

A mummers’ festival will be held on the square in the village of Kaynardzha, Silistra region, from 10 am on March 14 and 15. The event is part of the annual "Days of Kaynardzha" and the cultural life of the region. The program will feature over 10 groups from different parts of Bulgaria and one group from Romania, who will present impressive masks, the rhythm of bells, mystical rituals and an authentic folklore atmosphere, carrying messages of health, fertility and a new beginning.
