Over
the past 3 years, Bulgaria has imported more than 108,000 workers
from third countries outside the EU. This means that there is a need
for personnel, but this is also related to something quite important – a
need for skills. This was what the Minister of Labour and Social
Policy Natalia Efremova told BNT.
With
indicators of 2.8% to 3.2%, our unemployment is unhealthily low, she
commented and added that nearly half of the registered unemployed
have very low qualifications. This is the reason why employers are
increasingly looking abroad, the minister added.
