Bulgarian racing driver Nikola Tsolov earns Formula 1 super licence

Bulgarian racing driver Nikola Tsolov has successfully completed an F1 car test at the legendary Imola circuit.
Tsolov got behind the wheel of a Racing Bulls VCARB 02 and, shortly before 1:00 p.m. Bulgarian time, achieved the required target of completing 300 kilometers, thereby securing his Formula 1 super licence, BGNES reported.
The 19-year-old Bulgarian talent also improved his best lap time at the circuit, recording 1:17.67.
The successful test marks an important step in Tsolov’s career, as he has established himself as one of the most promising young drivers in motorsport. He is currently leading the Formula 2 championship.
Obtaining the super licence will give Tsolov the opportunity to participate in free practice sessions in Formula 1.
