A US military transport aircraft, a Boeing C-17, landed at Burgas Airport at 12:55 pm on Thursday to refuel, BNR Burgas reported.
After refuelling, the aircraft took off again at 2:27 pm, the airport said. Officials did not disclose where the aircraft had arrived from, where it was heading or the nature of its mission.
The airport said the stop was a routine technical landing and was not linked to an emergency, loading or unloading, according to Bulgarian public broadcaster BNT.
