The Port Prim Art Fest is returning to the seaside city of Burgas for its ninth edition. From today until 10 October, visitors will enjoy “a whole palette of fascinating contemporary art events”, according to the organisers. Favourite artists will arrive especially for the cultural event, including literary authors Maria Kasimova-Moase, Georgi Toshev and Georgi Milkov, as well as musicians Mario Hossen, violin, Kristina Miller, piano, and Klaudiusz Baran, bandoneon.

A group exhibition featuring seven contemporary Bulgarian artists at the Petko Zadgorski Art Gallery in Burgas will open the festival’s ninth edition. It will showcase different generations and artistic pursuits, ranging from classical oil painting and graphic art to conceptual works made of metal, ceramics and rust.

The festival programme also includes film screenings, theatre performances and the concert “Classical Music Meets Jazz and Tango”.
